We are in our last few weeks of summer! It's been a total blast this year. As a family we've visited Atlanta, we've gone camping, and Tim and I were able to take a short trip to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!
Now it's time to get ready for the new school year! I'm super excited that I'm going to be switching districts this year (sad to leave, but can't wait for the new position!). I will be an intervention teacher along with a literacy coach for a 4th and 5th grade building! I couldn't be happier with the new challenge, but as the minutes count down, I'm feeling the stress!
To help out with that I ALWAYS turn towards planning and organizing (our house is so organized right now by the way...even the basement crawl space). As we start to get our schedules for next year, along with our own kids' schedules (soccer, fall baseball, Sunday School, open houses, etc.), I turn towards my planner.
I haven't been very happy with my planners lately, so I searched a lot on Pinterest for a new one or some new ideas. I loved a few I saw, but they just didn't fit me all the way - and can I say, hello expensive for some? I hate not having something exactly my way (control freak much?)!

I found the perfect thing with the Arc from Staples! It's completely customizable so I LOVE it!
Just pick out your cover (leather ones are available, but I just couldn't bite the bullet on that expensive of a cover) and start deciding what you want in it!

I created these monthly pages to keep track of big items we need to remember!
And, I found these Peek at a Week pages on i heart organizing. They work perfect for keeping track of items for the week!
Oh, did I mention that you are supposed to buy a special binding system that costs 40 dollars? Yeah, I didn't purchase it.....
I just used a regular single whole punch. It did a pretty good job. I just had to make sure I punched close to the edge (I know, not how we should punch a hole in a page, right?). Above is a picture of the best way I found to punch the holes.
The pages (whichever ones YOU want) just slide right into the Arc binding rings!
I'll let you know how it works for me this year! I'm already feeling less stress just knowing I have a (cute) way to keep track of all of the things we have going on this year!
